Whitney Port attends the Mara Hoffman 2012 Resort Collection Show in Miami Beach

Designer Mara Hoffman brought her signature bohemian inspired swimwear to Miami Beach last night during her show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. On Saturday, July 16th, reality star Whitney Port attended Mara Hoffman's show to see the new 2012 Resort collection at The Raleigh Hotel. After traveling to countries like Egypt and Mexico, Mara Hoffman presented a mystical and tribal collection featuring bold and colorful prints. My favorite highlights included colorful embroideries inspired by Mexican Serapes and images of "King Tut" on a one piece swimsuit [pictured below]. I also noticed a new trend in swimwear this year: the high-waisted bikini! You'll notice some bikinis in Mara Hoffman are accentuated by beads and colorful straps. Hoffman's designs are highly sought after by celebrities like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Ashley Tisdale and Blake Lively. This is definitely a collection to keep your eyes on because it is unique in every way!

Caffe Swimwear debuts Resort 2012 Collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim

Mixing bikini colors never looked so good! On Saturday, July 16th, Caffe Swimwear Designer Paula Saavedra brought her Colombian sazon to Miami this weekend as she showcased her 2012 Resort collection at this year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim. I honestly fell in love with the elegant cover-ups and handmade beach bags shown throughout the show. It was the kind of swimwear that makes you want to get all glammed up for a weekend tropical getaway! The Caffe collection featured vibrant hues of reds, fuchsias, lemons, orange, turquoises and blues. When asked to describe the Caffe brand, Saavedra says it's "a lifestyle of relaxed luxury." Kate Upton takes over the Catwalk at Beach Bunny Swimwear's 2012 Cruise Collection Show

Beach Bunny Swimwear gets hotter every year and this year was no exception! On Friday, July 15th, Angela Chittenden presented her sexy Beach Bunny Swimwear 2012 Cruise Collection at The Raleigh Hotel in Miami Beach. If you love to attract attention on the beach with jewels, sequins, feathers or animal prints, this is definitely a collection for your inner diva. Last night's show was headlined by Victoria Secret and Sports Illustrated supermodel, Kate Upton [pictured on the left] who collaborated with Beach Bunny to create her own designs for the brand. During the show, guests previewed the new Kate Upton for Beach Bunny collection as well as the Beach Bunny Bride collection. This exclusive bridal swimwear line features a variety of white swimsuits and cover-ups seductively adorned with Chantilly lace, Swarovski crystals and hand beaded pearls. If you're a "soon-to-be-bride" or have a friend who's tying the knot, this is a fabulous find! For those who like to know about the celebrities in attendance, I spotted Adrienne Bailon [pictured on the right] from "Keeping up with the Kardashians" as well as Ocean Drive Covergirl and Sports Illustrated supermodel Chrissy Teigen. If you've picked up the July/ August 2011 issue of Ocean Drive Magazine, you'll notice the extremely beautiful model, Chrissy Teigen, is gracing the sultry cover! The famous Sports Illustrated model attended the Ocean Drive Party last night with her beau, Grammy Award winning artist, John Legend [pictured above]. It was definitely a warm night in Miami. Luckily, Ocean Drive Magazine always provides their guests with delicious Greygoose Vodka popsicles! For those who wanted to keep the party going, Ocean Drive Magazine also hosted an after party at Wall inside the W South Beach. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim officially begins with the Diesel Show in Miami Beach

On Thursday, July 14th, thousands of journalists from around the world arrived at The Raleigh Hotel to see the latest trends in swimwear! It's official: Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim has begun and the celebrities are flocking to South Beach. During last night's Diesel show, reality star Kristen Cavallari hit the catwalk in an amazing royal blue swimsuit [pictured on the left]. This fun piece worn by Kristen is actually part of Diesel's new SKYY Vodka capsule collection! The new Diesel collection featured looks for both men and women. There were stripes, bold colors and beach bags so check out my photos below. After the swim show, everyone headed over to the Raleigh Hotel's pool deck & oasis to enjoy the official kick-off party for this year's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in Miami. This invitation-only party featured refreshing cocktails by SKYY Vodka and music by celebrity DJs. Final show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim: Australian Beauties & a HOT Lifeguard!

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim has officially come to an end in Miami. It has truly been an amazing experience to attend this prestigious international event full of talented designers and breathtaking runway shows. On Monday, July 19th, I attended a group show at The Raleigh Hotel featuring Lisa Maree, Kooey Swimwear Australia, Aquarella Swimwear and Lisa Blue. The night kicked off with an energetic vibe thanks to a special guest on the runway: Lisa Maree's Lifeguard (pictured above). It was definitely a clever way to grab everyone's attention! Throughout the show, each designer presented their 2011 swim collection by adding their own exciting element to the night. Check out my photos from the evening:

Lisa Maree was the first collection to hit the runway on Monday night. This is a new line designed by model Lisa Maree. Inspired by Australia's beach culture, the collection gave the audience a dose of intricate patterns like the criss-crossed swimsuit shown above.

Above: A stunning black bikini from the 2011 Lisa Blue collection. I was truly impressed by the Australian designer behind this brand, Lisa Burke, who's passion for swimwear has allowed her to protect the marine environment. A full 25% of the net profit from Lisa Blue is donated to the Australian Whale Conservation Society. It is inspiring to see a designer who gives back to an important cause.
